Abstract

This paper discussed theoretically predicted and experimental data on absolute and relative sea (ocean) surface temperature measurements by means of microwave (mcw) radiometry. Analysis is given primarily on the basis of data obtained from soviet satellites equipped with multichannel mcw radiometers. Some new alternative approaches for SST determination are suggested.
