Abstract

A method for obtaining the transport coefficients is developed which is shown to be identical to the approximate Kubo formula obtained by Fujita and Abe yet much easier to handle in specific calculations. As an example we show that the results obtained by this method are identical to those recently obtained by Cunningham and Gruber, who use the Kubo formula as a starting point.
