Abstract The electron-phonon spectral function α2 F(ω) and the Coulomb pseudopotential parameter μ* contain all the information that is needed to calculate the transition temperature T c . Nearly all theoretical discussions on high temperature superconductivity have focused on the mass enhancement parameter.
