Abstract

This paper explores challenges and opportunities that emerged whilst setting up and adapting an art therapy group on an acute assessment and treatment unit for people with dementia. On becoming a nomad, refers to the importance of Rogerian psychology as I experience my journey as a therapist towards flexibility, adaptability and playfulness through an art-based intervention.
