Abstract
We consider assurance testing for repairable systems when supplementary information is available in addition to the data collected in the assurance test. The supplementary information is incorporated using a Bayesian inferential framework. Assurance testing is considered for both a homogeneous Poisson process and a nonhomogenous Poisson process and is illustrated with examples.
