Abstract
Multiple scattering of gamma-ray quanta in homogeneous media by Mössbauer isotopes is considered. The principal considerations relate to the case when the redistribution function corresponds to such physical processes as nucleus diffusion and electron-spin relaxation. An effective method for solving the transfer problem in semi-infinite media is suggested.
