Abstract

Intrathecal administration of vincristine sulfate in rabbits produces crystalline tubular inclusions in the perinuclear cytoplasm and processes of oligodendroglia. The crystals appear as either parallel rows of punctate osmophilic densities or closely packed arrays of circular profiles, depending upon the plane of section. The possible derivation of these inclusions is discussed and compared with the suggested derivation of morphologically identical crystals previously observed in neurons.
