Abstract Old Perspectives on Paul. Review of the History of research on the occasion of the Year of St. (2nd part) The has been an extremely controversial subject and has drawn strong arguments and recriminations from both sides of the debate. This paper intends a discussion of the New on Paul (Ed Parish Sanders; James D. G. Dunn) and the Post-New Perspective Perspectives. The subject is therefore the meaning of Paulinism within the Testament and within the theological context of first-century Christianity. Wenz takes into consideration Rudolf Bultmann's Existential Interpretation as well as Albert Schweitzer's Eschatological Mysticism of Paulus. Furthermore he refers to Ferdinand Christian Baur's theory of Early Christianity.
