Abstract
Observers of disturbances and measurement noises are developed for dynamical systems with sector-bound nonlinearity and parametric uncertainty. Conditions for the existence of these observers are proposed in the form of solvability of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Using the observers, a control law is designed to ensure system stabilization. The proposed algorithm is experimentally studied on a stand for multi-machine power systems control.
