Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effects of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction with cardiac insufficiency. Methods A total of 102 patients with acute myocardial infarction in People’s Hospital of Houma from May 2017 to April 2019 were divided into two groups. Fify-one cases in the control group were treated with conventional drugs, and 51 cases in the observation group were treated with PCI .The clinical effects of the two groups were observed. Results The incidence of major cardiac adverse events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (11.76% vs. 33.33%, P<0.05). And the left ventricular end-systolic volume, left ventricular ejection fraotion and heart rate in the observation group was significantly superior to those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The interventional PCI can improve the cardiac function and reduce the incidence of cardiac adverse events in patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated with cardiac insufficiency, so it has great value in practice.
