Abstract

In this paper, the properties of the Finite Memory Observer are treated in their global form on the case of linear stochastic systems with variant parameters. The knowledge of such properties is very important and very useful so as to know Finite Memory Observers performances. These performances will influence results of diagnosis procedure. A fundamental part of a fault diagnosis system is the residual generator. The main goal of this paper is the observer sensitivity study: sensitivity to noises, to modeling errors but also to faults; these sensitivity study are advanced sensitivity study on residuals.
