Abstract

Rationale: Malnutrition is a highly prevalent and crucial complication of Crohn’s Disease (CD); nevertheless, its assessment/treatment is rarely integrated into management plans. The aim was to investigate in an outpatient sample of CD patients (1) prevalence of malnutrition (2) relationship between nutritional and clinical status (3) reliability of different nutritional assessment methods.
