Abstract

Abstract— A questionnaire survey was conducted to assess the nutritional knowledge of undergraduate dental students in the University of Melbourne. Only a moderate improvement in nutritional knowledge was evident over the five years of the dental course. Many common misconceptions were held. The results indicated the necessity for the introduction of improved nutrition education in the Dental School curriculum.
