Abstract
In 2021, the publishing house “Prospect” published a book by corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation A.N. Savenkov “Nuremberg: A Verdict for name of Peace”. Despite the presence of publications by other authors on this subject, the book by Prof. A.N. Savenkov occupies a special place. This work is undoubtedly the basis for further scientific research on the Nuremberg process. It is safe to say that this work will take the place of a classic work, one of the most important goals of which is to preserve historical memory, in-depth study of historical milestones and events in the context of preserving peace and ensuring security, ordering and systematization of legal materials. The materials of the Nuremberg Tribunal, in which the atrocities of Nazism are documented, form the paradigm of the policy of historical memory.
