Abstract

This paper presents numerical dosimetry of the pregnant woman for a resonance-based wireless power transfer system. The wireless power transfer system for charging an electric vehicle is designed, and its characteristics and electromagnetic field distributions are analysed. The dosimetry of the anatomical pregnant woman voxel model is conducted for a scenario as a pregnant woman standing around the wireless power transfer system for an electric vehicle. The results are compared with the international guidelines for protecting a human body from electromagnetic fields.
