Abstract
The wave problem of electroelastic waves in a cylinder is reduced to a spectral problem for a system of eight ordinary differential equations. We give an algorithm for numerical solution based on reducing the original boundary-value problem to four Cauchy problems and determining the roots of the dispersion equation by the method of bisection.
