Abstract
IBE jest instytutem badawczym prowadzącym interdyscyplinarne badania naukowe nad funkcjonowaniem i efektywnością systemu edukacji w Polsce. Do głównych zadań IBE należą badania oraz analiza osiągnięć edukacyjnych uczniów, podstaw szkolnych oraz kształcenia i funkcjonowania systemu edukacji. Instytut wspiera funkcjonowanie systemu kwalifikacji oraz koncepcję uczenia się przez całe życie (lifelong learning).
