A 2 5 year old girl who died due to disseminated thromboembolism following I M injection of benzathine penicillin which entered arterial circulation accidentally is reported The complications and risk factor of intramuscular injections are discussed and the literature is reviewed Key words: Benzathine Penicillin Complication Intra Arterial Injection
