Abstract
Amine additives provided high selectivity (up to 98%) in the epoxidation of sensitive alkyl-substituted cyclohexenols with a TiO2–SiO2 aerogel and ButOOH; heterogenization of the catalyst system resulted in a new bifunctional catalyst.
