Abstract
In connection with new experimental data some peculiarities in the decay of exciton gratings in anthracene caused by the anisotropy of its exciton bands and possible role of waveguide modes are discussed. The diffusion coefficient D for waveguide polaritons is calculated and its value D ≈ 10 cm 2 s −1 is in a good agreement with the experiment.
