Abstract
Considerations resulting from a six week tour of North American Universities and Colleges in the late summer 1988 focusing on AIDS and HIV education on campus. The problems envisaged in the face of increasing infection on the one hand and the tendency to deny the possibility of it on the other. The importance of programmes of peer education and counteracting alcohol and drug abuse as paramount challenges to educators and administrators.
