Abstract
The problems of the irreversible deformation of compressible plastic media are considered. The non-correctness of the determination problem of the velocity field is analysed. A new numerical method based on the combination of the viscous approximation method and implicit schemes providing a singularity of the solution of the nonstationary problems for the hardening plastic body, is proposed. Pressing of the multiple-layers pattern in the rigid die and an intrusion of the stamp into the rigid-plastic finite strip are two particular problems considered.
