Abstract

The Auger rates, x-ray rates, fluorescence yields, and $K\ensuremath{\alpha}$ linewidths are presented for all elements $Z=12\ensuremath{-}55$ and $Z=60, 65, 70, 75, 80, \mathrm{and} 85$ when a vacancy is in the $2p$ shell. Numerical calculations have been performed using the Hartree-Fock-Slater approach with Herman, Van Dyke, and Ortenburger exchange. Comparisons of different exchange approximations on the Auger and x-ray total transition rates and the fluorescence yields are reported.
