Abstract

The temperature dependence of the penetration depth in the presence ofnonlocality and impurity in d-wave superconductors is calculated. It is shown thatthe penetration depth is proportional to the relaxation time at low temperatures, where the nonlocal effects are in fact completely masked by impurities.
