Abstract

The 45Sc NMR spectra of new perovskite compounds Ba2ScCuO4.5, Ba3Sc4Cu3O12 and Ba2Sc2O5 are studied at temperatures 130–375K. The inversed Knight shift curve (1/K(T) has a kink at T = 240K corresponding to the structural order-disorder transition. The structure of 45Sc NMR-spectrum of powder Ba2Cu2O5 is related to the 1st order quadrupole splitting. The temperature dependence of the spin-lattice relaxation time in Ba2Sc2O5 seems to follow the activation law at temperatures 130–320K.
