Abstract The NBSR resumed normal operation on April 8,1990. During the planned shutdown, holes for seven guides were drilled through the 7.5 m wall facing the guide hall, three guides with shutters were installed (as planned) within the reactor hall, and progress was made in a number of instrument- related areas.
