Abstract

The article covers the activity of the gallery of Lviv National Academy of Arts as modern art space which seeks accumulating creative efforts and initiatives of the young generation of Ukrainian artists. It is emphasized the interinstitutional and inter-disciplinary nature of the gallery, which becomes the place for the realization of numerous creative projects: performances, musical presentations, poetic evenings, etc. The author elucidates the focus area with the final consumer of the cultural product as strategic and significant for this site. Specific initiatives for the implementation of communications with the recipient of modern Ukrainian culture are highlighted. The article renders the context and particularities of the gallery’s work under the quarantine restrictions. It is observed the positive dynamics of the work of different gallery initiatives in the quarantine, which confirms the inexhaustible adaptive potential of the modern art institution in relation to external social conditions.
