Abstract
“New Problems in the Teaching of Russian.” Because of the increasing interest in the study of Russian, we must take inventory of our teaching materials and techniques. The materials are few and inadequate. Since Russian is a highly inflected language and very difficult, material based on scientific word and syntax counts would be very useful. The author reports success with such an attempt.
