Abstract

Method for nanomechanical and morphological mapping of the brain using atomic force microscopy (AFM) on live slices has been developed. The conditions and parameters for obtaining live brain slices that meet the requirements of AFM using a composite hydrogel have been selected, and the necessary characteristics of the probes have been established. On the live brain slices, maps of nanomechanical and morphological characteristics of normal tissues and glioblastoma were obtained.
