Abstract

New evaluations of the neutron induced reaction cross sections and gamma-ray yields for lead and bismuth performed at the IPPE are discussed. Main attention was paid to the consistent theoretical description of available experimental data on the discrete and continuum gamma-ray spectra from the neutron inelastic scattering and (n,xn) reactions. The neutron data files prepared on the basis of these evaluations are recommended for the new version of the BROND-3 library, which is under formation in the Russian Nuclear Data Center.
