Abstract
An analysis is made regarding the possibility of using the concepts of routes, overall equations, and stationary rates in constructing kinetic models simultaneously in the quasiequilibrium and quasistationary approximations. A general algorithm is proposed to construct routs, formulate overall equations, and derive expressions for stationary rates. Features of the algorithm are revealed, which are related to some quantitative characteristics of the reaction mechanism.
