Abstract

We show that models with SU(2)-singlet quarks and at least one SU(2)-singlet Higgs boson yield contributions to the electric dipole moment of the neutron, induced by the effective three-gluon operator recently pointed out by Weinberg. Such contributions do not necessitate the presence of more than one Higgs doublet.
