Abstract
New Master‘s program MSc (CE) in Occupational and Organizational Medicine combines in-depth specialized knowledge with interdisciplinary skill enhancement: a milestone for acquiring expert knowledge in Occupational Medicine in Austria A new Master’s program offered by the Austrian Academy for Occupational Medicine and Prevention (AAMP) in cooperation with Medical University of Vienna provides occupational physicians, for the first time, with comprehensive advanced training at the specialist level in their core competency of occupational medicine, combined with the interdisciplinary skill enhancement that has already proven successful in previous Master’s programs in organizational medicine. The following article provides an overview of occupational medicine and organizational medicine as components of holistic occupational health management as well as the objectives, content and structure of the new academic continuing education program.
