Abstract

Schiff base N ̶ benzylidene 4-nitroaniline (NB4NA) synthesized and examine corrosion inhibition belongings mild steel (MS) within acidic solutions 0.5 H2SO4 and 1M HCl. The weight loss method confirms inhibition capacity prolonged with enhancing the concentration of synthesized Schiff base NB4NA. Electrochemical studies reveal that NB4NA acts as an anodic and cathodic sortof inhibitor impedance studies exposed rising Schiff base attention with inhibition efficiency of about 70-75%.
