Abstract
To fix a reasonable traveller weight for yarn count and spindle revolutions in the ring frame, it is advisable to choose a traveller weight which balance calculated yarn strength and load tension.By this method, it is possible to fix the maximum limit on spindle revolutions for the type of yarn to be spun.Where the spindle speed exceeding this limit is needed, the frame has to be improved to reduce load tension.To fix the travel weight so as to balance calculated yarn strength and load tension, the frame must be carefully and satisfactorily maintained.
