Abstract
Several ladle slag detection methods of casting lines in the metallurgical industry are described,and the advantages and disadvantages of several detection methods are compared.The laser Doppler vibration technique is a promising detection method,and its feasibility is analysised.It is also pointed out that the technology introduced to the ladle slag detection can greatly reduce production costs,and can greatly enhance the labor productivity.
