Abstract

The range of detection is one important specification for expressing the ability of detection and recognition of space-based optical camera.According to the principles of photometry and radiometry,through analysis of the target luminosity characteristics,the sky background characteristics and the CCD SNR characteristics,SNR model was established.According to the connection between the pixel numbers and the detection result,the relationship among SNR,detection distance and detection result was obtained.At last,taking the SBV sensor developed by American,the simulation and calculation were made through Matlab.All of this can provide reference for performance evaluation of the space-based optical detection and the sensor design.
