Abstract
The article deals with the model of professional culture of the head of the educational institution and its main components; Challenges for the implementation of the professional activity of the head in modern conditions of reforming general secondary education, the introduction of the Concept New Ukrainian School; features and ways of development of professional culture of the head of the educational institution in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education.
