Abstract
La autora hace un análisis de la Convención Interamericana sobre Desaparición Forzada de Personas ratificada recientemente por México. Se hace especial alusión a la reserva y a la declaración interpretativa expresadas por el gobierno mexicano, y que se acompañan a la ratificación. Se explican sus implicaciones en el derecho internacional e interno. En este último aspecto se revisa el fuero militar, la irretroactividad de la ley, y la prescripción como elementos base de las declaraciones unilaterales.
