Abstract

Teaching Research Skills to Students in the Teaching of Subjects, Including Biology, is One of the Current Problems Summary The article is dedicated to the research activity in the teaching of biology of secondary school students. There, the main directions of research activities are investigated. Factors affecting the development of students' research skills in teaching biology: organization of observations on living organisms and biological processes in them, application of acquired knowledge in practice, calculation with integrative content and solving experimental issues, problems, examples, etc. is detected. The features of their application in lessons are explained. Pedagogical and methodical requirements for students' research skills are justified.
