Abstract
Abstract A pulsed video fluoroscopy system has been developed for multiple-pregnancy diagnosis in sheep. A 355 mm field-diam. image intensifier and a 512 × 512 × 10 bit single-frame video store have been linked, so that virtually instantaneous diagnosis is possible of the pregnancy status of the ewe with >90% success. Further development of the sheep handling system is planned.
