Abstract

Multimedia data are video, audio, text, graphics, still images and animation data. To be delivered to users, they are often organized in multimedia presentations, which can be seen as collections of multimedia data provided with synchronization primitives, and possibly user interaction facilities. Many applications extensively use multimedia presentations.
