Abstract

Gold Nanoparticle Aggregates In article number 2101190, Jinjian Liu, Yumin Zhang, Jianfeng Liu and co-workers report a multifunctional hybrid hydrogel for triple-synergistic destruction of tumor DNA functions. The sustained release of DOX can prevent DNA replication; meanwhile, gold nanoparticle aggregates can exacerbate DNA damage and inhibit DNA self-repair via dual-sensitization, i.e., radiosensitization and photo-sensitization. This triple-synergistic strategy achieves a highly efficient antitumor efficacy.
