Abstract

Experimental and clinical trials were made to compare systemic effects of bipolar-impulse and sinusoidal modulated currents including redistribution of extracellular liquid. When used in patients with temporomandibular painful dysfunction syndrome and temporomandibular deforming arthrosis, the technique developed by the author promoted normalization of locomotor function and has a definite lymphodraining action.
