Abstract

The purpose of this study is to derive the items of a measurement tool to measure the perception of Movement Culture in the aspect of public diplomacy and to verify its validity. A mixed study of qualitative and quantitative research was used to achieve the purpose of the study. For the qualitative study, 10 experts in each field for the Delphi method were selected as the study subjects, and for the quantitative study, 624 domestic citizens located in Seoul were selected as the research subjects. As a research tool, an unstructured open-ended questionnaire and a semi-structured in-depth questionnaire were used, and a quantitative study was performed by filling out a questionnaire based on the derived questions. For data analysis, spss 21.0, Amos 18.0, and winstep 3.64.2 were used. The results derived based on the research questions are as follows. First, the items and factors of the Movement Culture Awareness Measuring Tool consisted of a total of 21 items with 3 factors. Second, the validity based on the internal structure of the movement culture recognition measurement tool was found to be satisfactory, and 3 items were found to be inappropriate in the validity based on the test content.
