Abstract

The article examines the main motives that shaped the electoral decisions of voters in the midterm elections in the United States in 2022. The main problems of voters that determined their decisions when choosing candidates for Congress and for various positions in the states are revealed. The dynamics of changing priorities for voters during the campaign is determined, the reasons for which the problems of living standards, inflation and abortion became the main ones that largely determined the outcome of the vote are analyzed.
