Abstract

The Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) discipline has matured in recent years and has risen in prominence alongside the other major business disciplines, as evidenced by the growth in the number and stature of RMI journals. This study summarizes and recognizes the major contributing authors to three elite and seven high-impact RMI journals over the past 30 years (1984-2013), as well as over the most recent 10-year period. The authors listed in this study represent a very significant segment of the RMI academic community and are certainty worthy of appropriate recognition.
