Abstract
Vanadyl-phthalocyanine (VOPc) thin films were prepared on two kinds of substrates by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). Their characterization was carried out by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), reflection high-energy diffraction (RHEED) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The desorption energy and mean residence time of VOPc molecules deposited on two kinds of substrates were also investigated using a Vis/UV spectroscope. The relationship between the morphology of VOPc thin film and the desorption energy of VOPc molecules deposited was discussed.
