Abstract
Here, GdPO4:Eu3+ nanostructures with different morphology and size were successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal method and characterized by SEM ,XRD, PL and VSM . The results indicated that the morphology and crystallization strongly depended on the pH value of precursor solution as well as the surfactant and hydrothermal time. The photoluminescent and paramagnetic results showed the nanorods could be used as a promising nanoprobe for dual-modality with optical bioimaging and magnetic resonance imaging.
