Abstract

In this paper, a strip grouping method is proposed to facilitate the tolerance analysis of antennas/radomes using Monte Carlo method. Antenna array elements or antenna/radome discretized meshes are grouped into less categories to reduce the number of independent random variables. In this way, the power pattern variation interval can be better predicted using less calculations. Results of an array antenna with excitation errors and a spherical radome with thickness errors validate the effective ness of the proposed method.
